Brand Identity & Illustration – BiteOut Takeaway, Stockport

When BiteOut, Stockport’s newest flavour hotspot, needed branding as bold as their menu, they called me in to spice things up. As a freelance illustrator and brand designer, I was tasked with creating a full visual identity, including a standout logo, bold typography, and playful character illustrations that would make this new takeaway impossible to ignore.

Working closely with the BiteOut team, I developed a cheeky, flavour-forward aesthetic that brought the brand’s personality to life. The concept? Big taste, bigger attitude. Think bold colour palettes, retro diner energy, and a visual voice that says "Yeehaw, we’re not your average takeaway."

At the heart of the identity is a custom character illustration—the BiteOut "Flavour Sheriff"—designed to feel fun, memorable, and packed with personality. Using tools like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, I crafted a suite of visuals that could work seamlessly across signage, packaging, social media, and digital platforms.

This was a joyful and delicious project from start to finish—full of creative freedom and flavourful direction. The result? A distinctive brand identity that looks as good as the food tastes.
